Where To Stay in London... The Hoxton
A week after our city break to Krakow, I had already thought it was time to get away for a night. Our first staycation in our city and what a lovely first experience it was.
The room was small but impressive, a space filled with quirky details. A very cool desk, a huge comfy bed topped with decorative pillows, my favourite wooden flooring. As I came straight from work I headed for the kettle right away as they have fresh milk and tea in the rooms and how cute are their branded mugs, then I took a seat in the big leather chair and read through their November guide, telling their guests all about what's hot in London.
There's the quirky traditional bedroom and then the extremely modern and snazzy bathroom. A rainmaker shower though, wish this was my bathroom at home. One thing I love about The Hoxton is that it's merged both styles together which gives it a lot of personality.
When you stay here you get a free breakfast hamper dropped just outside your door, which includes a banana, granola pot and some delicious OJ. Great touch, of course they have room service too so if you did fancy a lay in and a egg based breakfast it's possible!
Taking a look around the lobby, a beautiful chilled out space, comfy sofas huddled around a roaring fireplace, a photobooth for all the cool kids and the Hoxton Grill for food 7am til late. We didn't eat there but you can see the tasty looking food on their Instagram. The interiors of the whole hotel were gorgeous and I couldn't recommend this hotel enough, being in Shoreditch you have so many places near by to explore, shop, eat and party!
